Is it safe to upload your chat?
Here is exactly what happens to the file, what we can see, and when it is deleted — including the parts that are easy to get wrong.

Delete your account and everything in it, in one click. Delete a report and its conversation from the library whenever you like.
A conversation that has not produced a report yet is discarded when you upload a different file in its place; if you want it removed sooner than the schedule below, write to us and we delete it.
Uploading happens before you sign up
The upload step comes before the step that asks for your email address. That means the text of your conversation reaches our servers the moment you upload it, whether or not you ever create an account, and whether or not you ever pay.
The deletion schedule below applies from that moment. You can also delete the conversation yourself, right after uploading, from the same browser session. Finish the flow in one browser — the anonymous session lives there.
What we can see, plainly
Your exported file is unzipped on your own device. Photos, videos and voice notes are stripped there and never reach us. The text of the conversation is uploaded, because that is what we have to read to write the report.
To write the report we send that text to [primary model provider — name it before launch], who processes it under contract for us and cannot train on it. If that provider is unavailable, the same text goes to [fallback model provider — name it before launch] under the same terms. Email is delivered through [email provider — name it before launch], and only for delivery.
How long we keep things
- A conversation with no report ordered
- Deleted automatically 48 hours after upload
- A conversation that produced a report
- Deleted automatically 7 days after your most recent report
- Your reports
- Kept until you delete them
- Payment records
- Kept as long as tax rules and Stripe require
- Your account
- One click deletes the account and everything in it
We do not keep conversations for "just in case". Nothing is retained past the windows above, and nothing is retained for training.
