What does a family group chat analyzer do?
A family group chat analyzer reads a family conversation and describes the pattern in it. Clark takes the exported thread, reads every message in order, counts who starts and who gets answered, and writes a report that says where you sit in the family — with the lines each observation came from.
It also does the one thing you cannot do for yourself: read your own messages with the same distance you read everyone else’s. Clark shows you the part you play in the pattern, in your own words.
Why a family chat is hard to read by scrolling
You are in a family group that has been running for years, and you have a feeling about your place in it that you have never said out loud.
With a partner or a friend, the relationship mostly lives in one place. A family is not like that: your mother, your brother, and the group with both of them are three different relationships, and each one is edited for the others. The last twenty messages tell you about last week. The whole thread tells you which of those relationships has been changing, and when.
Or the conversation you want read is not the group at all: a thread with one parent, or with a sibling where every message is logistics and none of them are about anything else.
Either way, you are not looking for a verdict on your family. You are looking for a description of the pattern, with the lines it came from.

In the wizard you map nicknames to real names and claim your own messages. A family group with nine people in it is unreadable until that is settled.

Clark counts who starts, who gets answered and how fast — per person, not per group. A parent who answers the group in minutes is not the same as a parent who answers you.
What the report will tell you about your family
A family group is not one relationship. It is several running at once, most of them conducted in front of an audience. These are the things Clark reads for:
Who talks to the group and who talks to you
One parent answers in the group and a different person answers when it is only the two of you. Clark counts both and shows the difference, because the difference is usually the story.
The one who only forwards
Weather warnings, health articles, a video of a dog. Clark names the role that person plays in the thread, and how often anyone replies to them at all.
Logistics wearing the clothes of affection
“Are you coming Sunday?” is the most repeated sentence in a lot of family groups. Clark reports the ratio of arrangements to actual conversation.
The plans that never got a date
Every long family thread is full of things that were agreed to and never scheduled. Clark counts them, and shows which ones were proposed by you.
Who is answered in minutes and who in days
Not to score anyone. It is the fastest way to see the hierarchy that nobody in the family ever wrote down.
The subject change
The moment a conversation turns away from the thing that matters, and whose message turned it. Clark shows the line just before the turn.
Family group chat analyzer: common questions
Can I upload a one-to-one chat with a parent instead of the group?+
Yes. Family is one of the chat types in the wizard, and it does not care how many people are in the file. A one-to-one thread with a parent is often the more useful read, because there is no audience in it.
The group is full of videos, photos and voice notes. Do those matter?+
They are stripped before upload and Clark never sees them. A photo with no caption is not evidence of anything, and neither is a voice note. The report is built from the text.
Someone in the family barely writes. Will Clark invent something about them?+
No. Someone who sent eleven messages is described by those eleven messages, and the report says the sample is thin rather than filling the gap. Clark reports what is in the file; it does not infer what a quiet person feels.
Will the report tell me my family is toxic?+
No. It is not a diagnosis and not a verdict, and it does not label anyone, including you. It reports what the messages do: who initiates, who defers, what repeated, what changed and when.
Can they find out I did this?+
Nobody in the conversation is notified, and reports are not listed or indexed anywhere. A report becomes visible to someone else only if you send them the link.
